Luckily, in Barcelona we have people with a lot of inventiveness and taking advantage that tomorrow, June 21, is the Day of Music has organized a free concert of the Symphonic Orchestra of Barcelona and National of Catalunya (OBC) on the beach.
This is not the first time this event has been held. This beautiful initiative of the orchestra on the sand with the sound of the background waves is becoming a tradition to celebrate this ephemeris. One more year we will return to enjoy it in the Platja de Sant Sebastià from 21:00 and they will play the subjects of Boléro, of Ravel; Shostakovich’s Festive Opening; The cant of the ocells (anonymous) or Romeo and Juliet, of Prokofiev and Water Dances of Michael Nyman.
